Chuck`s Dyckesville Bowl in Luxemburg

The Dycksville Bowl is a local favorite. The 6 lane house is family friendly, well maintained and has a friendly staff. The restaurant has good bar fare food. Our group had burgers , chili, chicken sandwiches and a fish fry and all were good, but the thing you absolutely have to get is the fried cheese curds. They are the best you will find anywhere.

A buddy and I rode our bikes 108 miles when we saw this place had roughly 4 stars and thought we'd give it a whirl. After camping in tents and eating oats and rice for a day THIS is just what we needed :)We had cheese curds, double burgers, a couple of beers and we bowled a round...and it was all perfect! The staff was friendly and we ordered what people said were good and we were not disappointed. The burgers are char broiled and the curds are fresh, and the fries are quick in front of you when you order. I don't normally post but I wanted to make sure that I did for Chuck's as it was a little slice of Heaven for some warn out travelers. Update: stopped by again this summer and the burgers and cheese curds are still good. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger and she craving it some 4 weeks later 😀If this review was helpful, hit the like button!

Fun place, never had a bad lunch. Hamburgers and pizzas a very good. Try the deep fried cheese curds are amazing.

Took a date there as a first stop, and we had the cheese curds, good food. However, despite the food, they are VERY TIGHT on generosity. We had a soda and instead of most places offering a refill, they charge for every drop they pour. The grip on their income is fierce vs the chance to gain regular customers. Thanks but probably won't return.

Step back in time 40 years to old Wisconsin. Deep fried cheese curds and tap root beer in a frosty mug. Friendly staff and good food for reasonable prices, what's not to like. Believe it or not this is a bar you can bring the kids to!

We visit from Charlotte NC every year and this is always on our list of places to visit. Great atmosphere and experience every time.

Took my kid here for his 7th birthday. Had a bowling tournament going on. Besides not being able to bowl it took us over an hour to get our appetizers.

My friend and I ate lunch here. The food was delicious and the service was great. I live in Florida and I wish I could eat here more often!!!! Loved the Root Beer too!

It's Chucks, what's not to love? Quintessential Wisconsin bar with a couple bowling lanes, beer and bar food. Always a special on food, if Chuck is cooking, you know hes got a smile on his face. Can't beat it if you're in the neighborhood. Try the white russian while you're there!

This place is the epitome of what I love about Wisconsin! Local tavern atmosphere mixed with great food at reasonable prices. And, apparently, the best deep fried cheese curds around! (Ask your friends; they will agree.) Add in a small 5-7 lane (I didn't count) bowling alley off the back and you have a true Wisconsin landmark. Can't wait to go back!

We just had a drink there, but! I'd recommend this place from just the smell. It smelled like the old days when you went to a drive-in restaurant and you knew it was going to be the best burger / food. Going back to try it someday!

Stopped there two months ago on a Friday night and they were out of perch, and their famous cheese curds at 6pm. Decided to try it again on our way home from Door County today and when we walked thru the door we were greeted with the statement “ I won’t be able to get to you for 20 minutes” I guess the other 10 people just walked through the door minutes before us. That’s ok, there are plenty of other places to stop. Used to be a regular stop for us... not any longer.. good luck... your going to need it.

Chuck's is great! My friends and I are I the area for a weekend once a year. We always make sure to make at least one trip to Chuck's. Their cheese curds are amazing and their burgers are fantastic. I've never bowled there but it looks like their balls are round and their floors are flat, so they got that going for them. I have *seen* people bowling and it looks like they're having fun. Definitely recommended, and not just because there's, like, nothing else up there.

Great cheese curds. Slow food service because owner cooks everything himself. He needs to have help during peak good times. Waiting an hour for cheese curds is not reasonable. They need more help, and to use the kitchen space in back to speed up food prep. Owner leaves main cook station to go in back to make the pizzas. Very inefficient. Woman behind the bar needs to smile. She's fast and efficient but seems very unhappy.

Normally a good place for a good perch fish fry. The quality was a little off yesterday. Bartenders were not very focused on their jobs; I suggest they look at the glasses more often and not stare off into space so much. Will give it another try sometime.

Famous cheese curds, burgers and onion rings are also good. Come early on the weekend before locals get out of church. Stopped by on a Sat. night and had to wait over an hour for cheese curds.

Everyone is correct, don't pass on the cheese curds. We also got the pizza. It was crispy, freshly made and well worth the money. Place was also very clean.

Went here in the winter once and the food wasn't that great. My chicken sandwich was super dry and they forgot the toppings. Couldn't get the attention of the bar tender (even though we were one of the few customers there) to get the rest of my toppings. Finally gave up and didn't eat much. The bowling was ok. Just an average small town bowling alley.
